I am 47 and very happily married. I love my husband very much, and you have ZERO chances of talking to me let alone meeting me. I am not here for hookups I'm here to display my art work. I DO NOT have Skype or any other IM service. Please don't ask or I will block you for not reading my Bio. Also, I do not take requests. If you can not act properly, I will block and then report you.

I've been an artist all my life and I am now trying my hand at photography. I do not have professional equipment. If things work out, I will invest in better equipment.

Recently, a friend suggested I write better descriptions/commentary on my work. I thought long and hard about this. In some ways, I agree with my friend. However....

In my mind, my works should not be "described" as such. It is my personal opinion that each individual viewer have their own opinion or take on what I (or any artist) present to them. For good or bad, everyone is entitled to their uninfluenced and unbiased opinion of art. Not to compare myself in ANY way to any great artist such a Vincent Van Gogh, but did Van Gogh describe for us what he wanted us to see or interpret in "Starry Night?" He didn't and he shouldn't have. No, I DO NOT think I am a great artist, or even an average one. My point being, that in my humble opinion, it is the artist's job to present the work, and the viewer's job to provide interpretation for themselves of how the artist or her/his work was trying to say to them as individuals and not be influenced by what the artist might describe to them.

Well said, I often finding myself defending art I personally may not like because I am defending the artists idea of what he was trying to say. People dismiss stuff so dreadfully and say that's not art. I am reminded as I type this of the kid who is drawing and the dad says ´what's that' the girl replies GOD the dad says 'but no one knows what God looks like' to which the child says ´they will when I have finished' Everything's Art no just a Monet or a Constable. People dismiss to easily and don't question enough. Good luck with your camera, mine is my lifeline since getting MS I can't do stuff and now my world is from wheelchair hight the camera helps me. Love the gallery by the way.

Great Bio I have tried to say that to people for years. They will condemn an artist's work in an instant not even considering what they are looking at. All art good or bad deserves to be recognised as ART before being dismissed by the individual. And what makes even the biggest critic expert, we each see art differently. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Don
